Beds Page

In beds we suggest
applying a mulch every three years to discourage weeds, provide nutrition to
plants, and improve general appearence. Some perennials in beds need dividing every 3-5 years to maintain vigour. This is an opportunity to divide and multiply, adding perennials where appropriate to increase seasonal interest. Ornamental ferns and grasses can also add character and tie in the landscape to its west coast context. We also leave some spaces for a burst of seasonal colour with annuals in the summer and bulbs and |
| winterflowering plants in the winter. Our service provides biweekly cleanup and weeding of beds. We use perennials and native plants to reduce maintenance requirements and provide a more natural, less artificial look. |
